MEET TONY
My name is Tony and I’m one of your local Jim’s Digger Franchisees throughout Melbourne’s northern suburbs. I’ve been with Jim’s since 2012 and I love to work with soil and stone. I got my interest in landscaping whilst working at the Heritage Golf Club in the Yarra Valley. At my last home I built some beautiful Coldstream Stone walls and garden beds. My lawn came up a treat.
I love the creativity that comes with my job. I enjoy working with clients and providing advice to achieve their goals. New lawns, retaining walls, driveways, drainage solutions, garden cleanups and stump removal are some of the things I do. In addition to landscape preparation I do trenching for electrical and plumbing installation and post holes for decks and fencing. I work with construction companies doing excavations and footings.
I operate with a Ditch Witch skid steer, Hyundai excavator and a Hino tipper truck. My skid steer is like a Kanga with rubber tracks instead of wheels. The excavator is a 1.7 tonne narrow access machine. My truck carries four cubic metres of soil, rubbish, green waste or whatever else you need to get rid of.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife Adele and our big Brady Bunch family. I listen to Rock’n’Roll and Punk music, and compete in Judo keeping me physically and mentally fit.
